Well, Washington State faced their first heat wave this month on May 16, 2008. Although, the detector south of of the platform (MP 17.1) said it was 62 degrees, it was on a shade. Well, this was the biggest surprise for me. Canadian National GMD SD75i #5735 leads a BNSF Manifest through Edmonds, Washington. The Manifest train is from Pasco, WA and is heading for Vancouver, BC. BNSF GE ES44DC (GEVO) 7701 leads an Eastbound Intermodel through Edmonds, WA. This GEVO have a very nice K5HL horn and even gave me several blast at me.
